Statistics show you how a single project is doing. You'll find them in the project menu under Statistics.
What you'll find there
- Completion – what percentage of tasks are done, both with and without the backlog.
- Worked and billable time, revenue, and timers that are currently running.
- Tasks by status and Tasks by priority.
- Activity (last 30 days) – a chart showing how much work happened day by day.
- By member and By section – who's done how much work and how individual parts of the project are progressing.
If the project's structure was created from a quote, you'll also see the Quote vs. actual card here: how many of the quoted hours are worked. Show the comparison takes you to the detailed breakdown by sections and packages. In screen sharing mode the numbers on the card are hidden. More in the article Materials and quotes.
Billable or worked time
At the top, you can switch the Time basis:
- Billable time – this is the default and shows only what you're billing. You can happily show this to a client in a meeting.
- Worked time – adds a comparison with actual time: how much of it you're billing, written-off time, and Estimate accuracy, i.e. how well your estimates match reality.
Sections and packages
You can also see progress on cards in the Sections and Packages parts of the project menu. The bar shows completed tasks twice: without the backlog and with it. You can instantly see whether the current work is done and how much is still waiting in the pipeline.
TipHours from events linked to the project count here too. That way you can also measure your routine. More in the article Events and calendar.
FREE or PRO
Project statistics are part of PRO. You'll find them in projects whose creator has PRO, and every member of such a project sees them too, even if they're on FREE themselves.
