A tool we needed ourselves

We are a team of freelancers and project managers who have been navigating the world of digital projects for over 15 years. During this time, we have worked on hundreds of projects and experienced administrative chaos firsthand — lost documents in emails, messy tasks, and confusion in invoicing and tracked time. We tried many task management tools, but mostly we ran into the same problem: massive dashboards, unnecessary complexity, and the feeling that we spend more time in the tool than doing actual work.

That's why in 2022 we started developing our own internal tool, TaskSystem, originally intended for time tracking and data export for clients. What started as an internal solution has gradually evolved, thanks to feedback, into Frego — a digital partner that we use every day today.

For four years it served in the trenches managing real client projects. Today we are gradually and carefully migrating this vast set of proven features into the new form of FREGO.
