Whether your trial ran out or you cancelled your subscription, the same applies: nothing gets deleted.
What keeps working
The whole core workflow runs on FREE just as before: clients, projects, tasks, kanban, daily plan, timer, hours and invoices. You can keep adding and editing all of it.
PRO parts are read-only
Cloud, vault, materials, quotes, ideas and stickers stay exactly as you left them. You can see everything and download your files. When you try to add or change something, frego shows you that it's part of PRO.
Also:
- Project statistics, writing off hours and the work report don't work without PRO. You can still restore hours you've already written off.
- People you invited stay in your projects and you can remove them. You can't invite new ones or change roles.
- Search and AI features don't work without PRO. AI credits you bought stay with you for later.
- A Google Calendar connection you already have keeps syncing. You can't connect a new one.
- Integrations (webhooks) keep creating tasks. You can't add new ones or edit existing ones.
Client limit
On FREE you can have 2 active clients. If you have more, nothing gets switched off and they all stay active. You can add or activate another one only once you've deactivated enough clients to get below the limit. More in the article Clients.
Projects you were invited to
If a project was created by someone with PRO, you keep its PRO features even when you're on FREE yourself. AI in those projects, however, only works with your own PRO.
How to come back
In Settings → Subscription, click Upgrade to PRO. Everything unlocks right away, exactly as you left it.
TipAfter your trial ends, a one-time notice on the Overview tells you that you're on FREE. Once you've read it, you can close it.
