On every invoice, you're the supplier and your client is the customer. Before you issue your first invoice, fill in your supplier details.
Where to fill them in
Open Settings → Billing details. Fill in:
- Company name, Address, City, Postal code and Country,
- Company ID, Tax ID, and if you have one, your VAT ID,
- VAT payer and Default VAT, which gets suggested for invoice items,
- Currency,
- Bank accounts with IBAN and SWIFT. Mark one as Default.
Finally, click Save.
Multiple companies or currencies
Use Add billing details to set up another set of details, for example if you invoice in both euros and dollars, or if you run two companies. When issuing an invoice, you then pick which supplier to use. If you only have one, it's selected automatically.
Client details
You fill in the customer's details when setting up the client. More on that in the Clients article. You can still tweak them manually on the invoice itself, for example if the client's address has changed.
TipIf you click the invoice step in the Getting started list before filling in your own details, frego will send you straight here.
